I really had fun making this tapered stocking hat.  Because the Dream Board is adjustable, you can increase or decrease the size of the tube as you knit. I started knitting the hat at the cuff and made regular decreases until I reached the tip. Then I added a tassel. The directions are written in easy to understand language. Even if you have never knitted before, this pattern will make sense to you. For an example of the style of instructions we write see the Basic Instructions for the Dream Board. To use this pattern, you will need to have a Dream Board.

This hat was made on Papa Bear's Sock Loom (10 inch) using sport weight yarn. The directions are written in easy to understand language. Even if you have never knitted before, this pattern will make sense to you.

Try making it with fingering yarn for a softer, more delicate look.
