I really had fun making this tapered stocking hat. Because the Dream Board
is adjustable, you can increase or decrease the size of the tube as you knit. I
started knitting the hat at the cuff and made regular decreases until I reached
the tip. Then I added a tassel. The directions are written in easy to understand
language. Even if you have never knitted before, this pattern will make sense to
you. For an example of the style of instructions we write see the
Basic Instructions for the Dream Board. To use
this pattern, you will need to have a Dream Board.

sport weight yarn. The directions are written in easy to understand language.

Try making it with fingering yarn for a softer, more delicate look.

You can make a warm hat with one strand of bulky yarn or two strands of
worsted weight yarn as I've done with this patriotic hat.
