Cool Tools

These Cool Tools are extra-fat and are designed for those who have arthritis and have trouble using tools with skinny handles or for anyone else who wants to use a fatter knitting loom tool for a change of pace.

Normal Use Tool

This tool works great for both the Dream Board and the sock looms. It is our favorite tool because it is small and lightweight, but if your knitting tension is too tight  the tool can bend. Don't use it as a lever.

Heavy Hook Tool

This heavy duty tool works with most yarns. This is the best tool for knitting the purl stitch. Its fine tip makes it very effective for use with sock looms and even for older style looms that don't have grooves on the pegs. The angle of the tool's tip is perfect for reaching into the groove on the end-pieces of the adjustable looms.

Heavy L-Shaped Tool

This tool is for the real tough jobs where you will need to pry and tug. It would be great for use with bulky weight yarns. Of course, it can be used with lightweight yarns as well.

Loop Transfer Tool

If you have ever tried to put a loop back on a peg after it has slipped off or after you have taken it off ("Why did I do that!!!"), then you know there must be a better way. Well, this is it. You won't need to hesitate about pulling out those last few stitches to fix that mistake. With this tool , it's so easy to put the loop back on the peg. And for those of you who want to do decreasing on the adjustable looms, this tool is indispensable.

An instructional DVD for round knitting looms

It's fun and easy to learn new ideas with these simple, step by step directions for a multi-brimmed hat using a circular knitting loom. Cheryl Stokes shares lots of examples to help you design your own variations of the pattern. This tutorial includes an introduction to the crossover stitch: a simple substitute for the flat stitch. With so many details, this DVD is a great guide for loomers of all skill levels.

The "Cool Hat!" Pattern

Because the Dream Board is adjustable, you can increase or decrease the size of the tube as you knit.  This pattern can only be used with the Dream Board.

White Cloud Baby Hat Pattern

This hat was made on Papa Bear's Sock Loom (10 inch) using sport weight yarn. The directions are written in easy to understand language.

Patriotic Hat Pattern

You can make a warm hat with one strand of bulky yarn or two strands of worsted weight yarn as I've done with this patriotic hat. This  was made on the Dream Board.

The Dream Ring

Adjustable circular loom system. Knit any size hat from a child to an adult hat on a round loom. Make  a small sweater up to 30 inches around. Converts to a double-sided knitting board for scarves or afghan strips. Remove every other peg to convert the Dream Ring into a large-gauge loom for  chunky yarn or  "Mile-A-Minute" afghans. Combine two sets together  to make larger items like an adult sweater or a 60 inch wide afghan.

Extra Segment for The Dream Ring

Extra segments for the Dream Ring are available. Expand your system so you can make ANY size round loom or have several projects going at once. Each segment can be used to increase the size of your knitted fabric by approximately 10 to 12 inches depending on the thickness of your yarn.

Extra End Pieces for The Dream Ring

With these movable end pieces, the Dream Ring can be adjusted to knit a tube as small as 8 pegs around or you could put all of your segments together into two long pieces and insert the two end pieces so you can knit as large a tube as you like. It also simplifies decreasing so that it is easier than ever to make something like a tapered ski hat.

The Dream Board 15 inch

It's both a knitting board and 'round' knitting loom. Adjusts to many sizes. Buy just one loom to make hats and slippers for  the whole family.

Included with the loom are instructions, a tool for pulling the yarn loops over the tops of the pegs, and a pattern for the Patriotic Hat.
