Adjustable Looms

The Dream Ring Adjustable Round Knitting Loom System

With this adjustable circular loom system you can knit any size hat from a child's to an adult hat. You can also make a small sweater up to 30 inches around. In the double-sided knitting board setting, you can knit scarves or afghan strips. Because the pegs are removable, you can insert every other peg to convert the Dream Ring into a large gauge loom for knitting with chunky yarn or for making "Mile-A-Minute" afghans. This is an expandable system, so you can use two sets together if you want to make larger items like an adult sweater or a 60 inch wide afghan. You can form the ring into a circle or an oval or you can leave the ring disconnected to use as a one-sided knitting board. Go to the Dream Ring page to see more pictures of this great loom.

Extra Segment for The Dream Ring

See The Dream Ring  page

Extra segments for the Dream Ring are available. Expand your system so you can make ANY size round loom or have several projects going at once. Each segment can be used to increase the size of your knitted fabric by approximately 10 to 12 inches depending on the thickness of your yarn.

Extra End Pieces for the Dream Ring   Follow this link for a tutorial that teaches how to make a tapered ski hat.

With these movable end pieces, the Dream Ring can be adjusted to knit a tube as small as 8 pegs around or you could put all of your segments together into two long pieces and insert the two end pieces so you can knit as large a tube as you like. It also simplifies decreasing so that it is easier than ever to make something like a tapered ski hat.

The Dream Board

15 inch knitting loom. It's both a knitting board and 'round' knitting loom. Adjusts to many sizes. Buy just one loom to make hats and slippers for  the whole family. More Detailed Description.

Cabling Tutorial

Because the pegs are removable, it's much easier to do cable designs on the Dream Ring than a knitting loom with stationary pegs.

Follow the Cabling tutorial link to learn through step by step pictures how to do cabling on the Dream Ring. This tutorial should also help you understand how to do cabling on a two sided knitting board loom. Just follow the same steps as you would on a round loom, except you make the cables on one side of a two-sided loom with plain knitting on the back selection of pegs.

Tapered Ski Hat Tutorial

Here is a tutorial to teach how to decrease on the Dream Ring, using the new end pieces. It was quick, easy and a lot of fun.

Tools

Knitting Loom Tools
The normal use tool works great for the Dream Board, Dream Ring and the sock looms.  Two tools for heavy duty use are also available. The heavy duty angled tool is the best tool for knitting the purl stitch. Loop Transfer Tool makes it easy to put the looms back on the pegs when decreasing or if you have a dropped stitch.

Cool Tools
Our knitting loom tools have suddenly grown wild and tangy! You want some pizzazz? Are you tired of your everyday, boring tools? Try one of these. They don't even stay the same, that's how wild they are—every tool handle is unique. You heard me. We never make two tools that are exactly alike. And no, you can't eat them. Now look down at the display of tools. Do you see that they have thick, extra-chunky handles? These are great for folks who have arthritis and have trouble using tools with skinny handles or for anyone else who wants to use a fatter knitting loom tool for a change of pace. Well? What are you waiting for? If you want to buy one (or a dozen), click on this Cool Tools Selection Page link. There you can see which patterns are currently available. Or, let me know if you want a special color scheme or handle shape and I'll see what I can do. You could even have a chunky-handled crochet hook if you want... Just ask!
